I’ve watched concerts to the point of opening blind boxes and drawing eggs. The last time I watched one was probably Joey Yung’s Pretty Crazy concert. I remember that the guests at that time were all top-notch singers. Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Leon Lai...each of them represents the most glorious page in the music industry. But this time, the guest lineup made all the audience who came to watch the concert experience a time travel, showing the changes in the Hong Kong music scene in the past 30 years.

The story begins more than a decade ago, when a young man from Guangzhou experienced several personnel changes in record companies and finally settled in Hong Kong. He has been developing his music career in Hong Kong for several years, but his career has not been very successful, and he may even have had some periods of frustration. It was not until the start of “ #笑忘书” that people gradually got to know Hins better. However, he did not know that he would become a huge hit the following year because of a song called “ #酷爱”.

While working hard, he began to be appreciated by people in the industry, especially some seniors who worked with him at Universal Music. Some senior musicians even began to invite him to be a guest at their concerts. In 2006's "The Piano Concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum", Anthony Wong invited Hins Cheung to be the guest of his concert. The "Guest King" began to be the guest of different singers' concerts. He could be seen in the concerts of senior singers, artists from the same company, and newcomers of the same period. Every performance allows more people to know Hins Cheung, and also establishes many friendships and opportunities for collaboration.

And he did not use everything as an advantage for his development, but sincerely accepted everything he got, taking from it and using it for his own benefit. He began to use his generosity to help his colleagues, and whenever his colleagues needed help, he would give his all. Therefore, Dear Jane and Rubberband both used his recording studio in Guangzhou to produce records, and Dear Jane was even more welcomed by him with food and accommodation. When Hong Jiahao was helping him and had the idea of making music, he immediately worked with him to collect all kinds of equipment suitable for Hong Jiahao to help him establish the foundation for music production. Nothing is inevitable, but for Xuan Gong, kindness seems to be a matter of course. He is kindhearted and is not limited to people in the same industry. As long as he knows someone needs help, he will help. Therefore, the story that Gigi Leung mentioned when she was a guest is sufficient to prove that her current achievements were not achieved by luck.

Although these twenty nights were separated by several months, I still remember who was the guest every night and became the topic of conversation after dinner. Hins Cheung has used his own efforts to introduce to everyone all the voices that everyone needs to know. In addition to giving different newcomers the opportunity to step onto the stage, just like the opportunities he had before, he has also let everyone know that the Hong Kong music scene is still very strong and capable. There are music legends like Leon Lai and Kelly Chen, as well as singers like Alfred Hui and Pak-yu Chan who are capable of supporting the music scene, not to mention the rising newcomers like Nicholas Tse, Alexander Tong, and Liu Yingting, and Alan Yam, Alex Fong, and Ivana Wong are still very enthusiastic. Every generation in Hong Kong has excellent Hong Kong singers. Thanks to this concert, everyone has realized the potential of Hong Kong as a music palace.

I am very grateful to Hins Cheung. He not only wants to do a good job in his own concerts, but also wants to do a good job in this music scene. He allows a group of music fans to complete a journey through the brief history of the Hong Kong music scene through different guests and different stories every night. Different people tell about Hins' good deeds, just like piecing together his music story over the past 20 years like pieces of a puzzle.

#Hsin Cheung @hinscheung Thank you for a concert that will definitely last for this life and the next. I hope you will continue to sing until you are 50, 60, or 70 years old.
