在1971 年，Pink Floyd推出第六張錄音大碟 Meddle ，内裡包含為人注目長度達黑膠唱片一整面的歌曲 ”Echoes” ，這首歌被樂評人認為它展示了成功大碟 Dark Side of the Moon 的創作基礎，並且成為日後Pink Floyd 標緻性音樂特質之一。

除了收錄BBC 電台的音樂時段，還包括多首原裝試唱，它們都是孕育日後由 “Nothing” 到 “Return of the son of Nothing” 的創作種子。錄像(BD/DVD)方面，有歌曲 “Echoes” 從未推出的原裝四聲道版本，以及1971 年樂隊現塲表演包括跟 Roland Petit 及他的Marseille ballet company 的合唱。附仿製當年記事本。
