《His Songs: A Piano Tribute to Elton John》是法國作曲家兼鋼琴家 Jean-Michel Bernard 今年推出的新專輯，籍此向搖滾流行樂巨星 Elton John 致敬。收錄十七首鋼琴獨奏作品，包括多首Elton John 的代表作如 ”Rocket Man”、”Your Song”、”Tiny Dancer” 及”Crocodile Rock” 等等。
「Elton John 跟 Ray Charles 有著相同之處… 兩位都是傑出的鋼琴家，他們的鋼琴才華都被自己歌唱光芒蓋過。Elton John 視Ray Charles 為他的屬靈父親，這是我跟 Elton John 相似的地方。」Jean-Michel Bernard 自幼接受古典音樂訓練，十九歲的他已跟 Royal Philharmonic Orchestra 同台演奏。之後，他向爵士樂發展，曾與多位著名爵士音樂人合作如有Eddie Davis、Guy Laffite、Jimmy Woode及Ray Brown 等。在 2000 年，他參與 Ray Charles 的世界巡迴演唱會。樂迷對他的認識可能始於他的配樂工作，他過去曾參與超過二百套電視及電影配樂，合作的導演有 Michel Gondry、Martin Scorsese、Claude Chabrol、Fanny Ardant 及Francis Veber 等。
