Jay Chou's self-titled album is full of his high-tech musical creations. The title song "Lovely Woman" is written by Vivian Hsu and composed by Jay Chou, breaking away from the usual BALLAD style on the market ( jokingly translated as "ballad song ") , but with a new kind of good music. "Perfectionism" is a creation of a brand new style of music, in which Jay Chou performs the piano performance with superb skills alone, without asking anyone else for help. Another song "Wife" is a Western style full of R&B , combined with Jay Chou's characteristic ancient " Song " lyrics, creating another brand new music. The new R&B and New Hip-Hop songs in the album, plus the addition of classical Baroque string accompaniment and band , form a British retro style. What's more special is that Jay Chou tries to express the super-difficult Spanish-style string performance in the album songs, but the artistic conception is unexpectedly close to movie soundtracks. This kind of music is not available in Taiwan at present.
