前衛金屬傳奇樂隊Dream Theater於2016年推出成軍30週年的紀念專輯《The Astonishing》，是一部宏大的搖滾歌劇。專輯由結他手John Petrucci構思故事背景，描述一個反烏托邦的未來世界。音樂融合前衛金屬與交響樂元素，透過長達兩小時的劇情與多元角色詮釋，成為樂隊最具實驗性與爭議性的作品之一。
