Black Sabbath - The Eternal Idol (LP)

The Eternal Idol 標誌Black Sabbath 80年代後期的轉型，Tony Martin的歌聲為樂團注入新能量，曲目如《The Shining》與《Eternal Idol》展現濃厚重金屬風格與Iommi標誌性riff。2025年CD再版採用digisleeve包裝，含12頁小冊子（新筆記及1987年錄音照片）及日文歌詞翻譯，音質獲X用戶@elchayi讚為「重混後低頻更強，Martin聲線清晰」（2025/8/14）。Rue Morgue Records 稱其「重新定義Tony Martin時代」。

The Eternal Idol 是Black Sabbath的第十三張錄音室專輯，最初於1987年11月發行，2025年7月25日由BMG/Rhino推出CD再版。專輯於1986-1987年在倫敦（Air Studios、Battery Studios）錄製，由Jeff Glixman、Vic Coppersmith-Heaven及Chris Tsangarides製作，2025年由Rhino從原始模擬母帶重新母帶處理（96 kHz/24-bit）。共11首曲目，總時長約50分鐘，包含2首CD專屬bonus tracks（《Some Kind of Woman》、《Black Moon》）。這是Tony Martin首次擔任Black Sabbath主唱的專輯，最初由Ray Gillen錄製主唱部分，後因其離團（加入Badlands）由Martin重新錄製，僅《Nightmare》中保留Gillen的笑聲。專輯於2025年4月12日Record Store Day以限量紅色黑膠形式先行發行，7月25日推出廣泛發行的CD及黑膠版本。
