The famous French cellist Gautier Capuçon began learning cello at the age of 5. When he was a student, he studied at the Paris National Superior Conservatory of Music and Dance under Philippe Muller and Annie Cochet-Zakine . He then went to Vienna to follow cellist Schiff. Now he is a world-renowned cellist and serves as a judge on the famous youth classical music competition program "Prodigy" on "France TV2". He is also the founder and leader of the " Classe d'Excellence de Violoncelle " project at the Louis Vuitton Foundation Art Center in Paris.

As a celebration and record of turning 40 this year, Gauthier Capuçon released this 3CD album " Souvenirs ".
