"Soldier of Love" is the sixth album by the British band Sade, released in 2010. Ten years ago, after they released their previous album "Lovers Rock" and completed the "Lovers Rock" tour, the band entered a hiatus period. The band's soul figure Sade lives in seclusion in the suburbs, away from the media's attention. After eight years, the members reunited for the first time and worked on the production of a new album. The collection includes ten songs including three singles - "Soldier of Love", "Babyfather" and "The Moon and the Sky". As soon as it was released, the album topped the Billboard 200 album chart and stayed at the top for three consecutive weeks, becoming their second number one album since "Promise" 25 years ago.

The album sold over half a million copies in its first week, and it was certified platinum by the RIAA within a month. As of April 2011, its cumulative sales in the United States have reached 1.3 million records. In addition, this album also achieved good sales in 17 countries around the world (in addition to the United Kingdom, the United States and many European countries, there are also Russia, Poland and Brazil, etc.), achieving platinum and gold record sales, and a total of more than 2.3 million records were sold worldwide.
