Ryuichi Sakamoto - NEO GEO (vinyl record)

Ryuichi Sakamoto's work for music fans around the world was released in more than twenty countries in 1987. "Neo Geo" is Ryuichi Sakamoto's seventh solo album. He co-produced it with Bill Laswell and invited top musicians to participate in the production, including Iggy Pop, Sly Dunbar, Bootsy Collins, etc. It was recorded in Tokyo, Japan and New York, USA respectively. It is regarded as an important work in his career. Based on electronic music, it incorporates original musical elements with local colors, including Japanese Okinawan music and Indonesian Balinese traditional music.
