"Heroes", the classic album released by rock chameleon David Bowie in 1977, is the second part of the "Berlin Trilogy" series jointly created by Brian Eno and Tony Visconti. It continues the experimental sound of its previous works Electronic and Ambient, while adding traditional rock and pop elements. The only album recorded entirely in Berlin, reflecting the Cold War era spirit represented by this divided city. Pitchfork, Select and AllMusic gave it high marks. In addition, the Chicago Tribune, Blender, Entertainment Weekly and NME also gave it high marks! When the legendary singer John Lennon was making the album "Double Fantasy", he hoped to create a work as outstanding as "Heroes"; the Irish rock band U2 moved the album "Achtung Baby" to Hansa Tonstudio in Berlin to record it, and invited Brian Eno to take charge, paying tribute to "Heroes" recorded at the same place!
To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the release of this album, which is recognized as one of David Bowie's best, Warner Music solemnly launches "Heroes" (Grey Vinyl). It is a limited edition worldwide and will be sold out while stocks last. David Bowie fans must treasure it!!
