Alicia Keys - Girl on Fire (2LP)

"Girl on Fire" is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys, released in 2012 and her debut album under RCA Records. This disc is a rhythm and blues R&B album, and covers a variety of music genres including rock, electronic, hip-hop and n. reggae.

Simplicity is its production feature, with songs mostly dominated by piano, accompanied by typical rhythm and blues music and chord and melody changes that strike a balance between the two. The double album contains thirteen songs including six singles "Girl on Fire" (which peaked at number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100), "Brand New Me", "New Day", "Fire We Make" and "Tears Always Win".

The album was well received by music fans and critics. It topped the Billboard 200 Albums Chart as soon as it was released, with sales of nearly 160,000 records in the first week. Keys won the Best R&B Album at the 56th Grammy Awards for this album, becoming the first artist to achieve three awards in this category.
