Gojira - Fortitude (Black Ice Vinyl)

The famous progressive heavy metal band Gojira released its latest album "Fortitude" in 2021. Guitarist and lead singer Joseph Duplantier explained in an interview why he chose "Fortitude" as the name of the new album. Since the band was founded, we have always advocated sympathy and competition, love and hate. The purpose of "Fortitude" is to inspire people to be the best version of themselves and to be strong no matter what.

Speaking about the album’s latest single, “Born For One Thing,” Joseph Duplantier said the lyrics were inspired by Tibetan and Thai philosophical works he read in his youth: “We have to practice detaching from everything, reducing what we own, and getting rid of what we don’t need, because one day, we will have to give up everything.”
