Billy Ocean - Suddenly [40th Anniversary] (Ocean colored 1LP)

"Suddenly" is the fifth studio album released by British R&B representative singer Billy Ocean in 1984.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the album and it has been re-released on a special Ocean Blue vinyl record. The nine-track album includes five singles - "Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)" (the lead single, which peaked at number six on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the US Billboard Hot 100), "Loverboy" and "Suddenly" (a classic Ocean ballad), "Mystery Lady" and "The Long and Winding Road".

The album was very popular with music fans and successfully entered the top ten of the British and American album charts, bringing him to the peak of his career. In the United States, it remained on the charts for a year, and its sales were certified double platinum by the RIAA. Ocean was nominated for two Grammy Awards for "Caribbean Queen," where he won Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
