The album "After The Gold Rush" was released by Neil Young on August 1, 1970. On the eve of the album's production, Neil Young had just disbanded his then band Crazy Horse and walked into the basement alone with his guitar. By the time it came out, he had written a series of sad love songs, so this record was born. The album was ranked number 71 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
