After eight years of waiting, Yoga Lin finally made his debut. With his unique style and temperament, he has always been one of the iconic representatives of the Chinese music scene. Since the release of "Open for Business Today" in 2016 , Yoga Lin has not only experienced the changes in the world, but also experienced different issues in life. The process has been constantly updated with his vision, and he has released "Girl", " End ", "I'm Not a God , I'm Just an Ordinary Person Who Loves You", "Trash Baby" and other works with diverse styles and "love" throughout. After eight years, slow work produces fine results. In 2024 , the sixth album "King" will be finalized and released.

The album title "King" does not refer to Yoga Lin himself, but represents the part that everyone cares about most, which will become the "king" on the road of life. We hope that our lives will not be dominated by confusion, fear, the pursuit of perfection, and hatred, but let "love" become the dominant force in life and let love become the "king". When Yoga Lin was preparing for this album, all of the lyrics, music, and production were based on and in line with this theme, extending this album.
Love runs through the extended musical levels and diversity of works. From the release of "Girl" in 2019 , Yoga Lin announced that he has entered a new stage of his sixth album. The sweet atmosphere has a bit of childish romance, leaving a foreshadowing of love for the album. In 2021 , she sang a new song " End " at the XIANG YU YI YANG online concert. The loneliness reflected in the song and the picture depicted the immersive feeling of the album. In 2023 , with the restart of the [ Idol World Tour], Yoga Lin released the affectionate work "I'm Not a God , I'm Just an Ordinary Person Who Loves You". The 17-character song title deepens the persistent and sincere emotions, and is paired with an MV performance that breaks through his previous image, showing the ultimate love in the album. In the new round of concerts, he will exclusively sing the unreleased songs "Punishment" and "White", and will sing "Goodnight Mary" with Lam Ka Him in a duet in Hong Kong only, showing the different styles of his works and raising fans' expectations for the new album. In September of the same year, the style of painting suddenly changed to the cute and eye-catching "Trash Baby". The childlike image of Lin Baobear, which advocated "You are a baby, not trash", gave the public a refreshing feeling. In addition, Yoga Lin sang his unreleased work "A Loving Family" for the first time in the 2024 Chinese New Year program, and unveiled new songs from the album, delivering a warm message at this appropriate time of year.
In March 2024, Yoga Lin added the unreleased first healing hit song "Who Doesn't Want" and the funny flash song "Propose for Someone " to complete the album's ten songs. In addition, the album also has six interludes, which act like bridges between story chapters, making the album more three-dimensional and the listening experience more complete. The sixteen pieces of music, each with its own distinctive style, are all permeated by the theme of "love", which not only successfully showcases the different sides of Yoga Lin, but also shows the diverse style of the album.
As one of the album's producers, Yoga Lin put a lot of thought into the creative stage and carefully crafted the appearance of this album. We once again teamed up with many musical partners with whom we have cultivated a tacit understanding over the years to complete works with different temperaments and atmospheres. At the same time, we stepped out of our comfort zone and collaborated with musicians such as Yao Qian and Yan Jue for the first time to create new sparks. We also invited Greg Koller , the mixer who had worked on albums for Mac Miller , Blake Mills , Perfume Genius , and Jon Brion , and Patricia Sullivan, who had worked with well-known musicians such as Hans Zimmer , John Williams , and The Police , to serve as mastering engineers to do the final stage of adjustment for this album. The works in this album have a temperament that is both explosive and restrained, as well as warm and lyrical. The themes of the songs range from broken relationships between adults to the straightforward language of children and family, connecting different levels of love and enriching the color of the album.
The surreal visuals hide ingenuity. The physical album is limited to pre-order collection and is not available on the market. The visuals of the album put the viewer in a surreal environment, where a white horse appears in an empty and dim gas station, and love, which is invisible to the naked eye, turns into a king and sits on the horse's back, extending the story of the picture. Although the overall atmosphere is quiet, it has a strong power to outline the tension of the picture of "Love is King".
