Cheer Chen- Guitarist (Pattern Glue)

Guitarist Cheer Chen singing on stage vs Groupies
When she was a student, Cheer Chen often skipped classes to attend concerts. This habit has continued until now, and I have turned back into a little fan at concerts. She not only watched the performance on stage, but also observed the fans in the audience. She wrote in her new song "Guitarist" that a young fan wanted to get the attention of her idol, and invested all her expectations in the short second of eye contact. The Groupies-style rush into battle with unswerving enthusiasm is also the most fanatical form of love - love is a concert, and everyone is a crazy little fan in it.

Guitarist Cheer Chen vs Groupies listening in the audience
When performing on stage, Cheer Chen also has her own Groupies. Many of Cheer Chen's fans attend almost every one of her live performances. New songs sung by Cheer Chen live are often discussed by fans online before they are officially released. After she published her first creative book consisting of photography and poetry, her fans also called for a photography exhibition online. Chen Qizhen’s fans may not be crazy about chasing stars, but they support their idol in a unique way. Compared to other singers who disappear during non-album release periods, Cheer Chen has been holding regular small-scale live concerts since before her debut. For her, live performance has an irreplaceable charm. I first went to Kenting to sing while playing when I was a student. After the singing, I took out a box of CDs I had pressed to sell. The first time they performed at the Witch Shop before their debut, the audience couldn’t even fill three tables. In just a few years, Cheer Chen has accumulated quite a number of loyal fans. The Witch Shop is always packed with people at every performance. Tickets for her first solo concert (the "Greenhouse Flowers" concert in 2000) were sold out in just one week.

For Cheer Chen, who insists on live performances, singing does not only happen on TV, and music does not only exist during the promotion period. Even though her record sales are good, she is still the Chen Qizhen who plays her guitar, sings and sells her CDs at the Kenting beach, facing the audience directly. Her music is closer to face-to-face communication. The album "Guitarist" is named Groupies, which can be said to be the most direct thank you to the fans who have accompanied her all the way.
